Echinacea

Another picture of my little red coneflower bud. Coneflowers are also known as Echinacea. The same kind of Echinacea you take when you feel a cold coming on. I have looked for recipes and preparations to see if I can make my own Echinacea out of my coneflowers but haven't seen anything that appears safe! Anyway, they are very pretty.



Some might wonder why I am so focused on the landscaping in my backyard. After all, I don't really sit out there. While the dogs enjoy it, I don't think they really care. It occured to me yesterday that I look at this window all day every working day and that must be why I spend time on it. This is the view from my desk!
