Very pretty!
Then over to Patty's - work on her deck(s) continues and I got a picture of her in action
The back deck is almost done - just the handrails to finish
The 'defenders of the deck'!
Lots of powder puff power here...
One of Patty & Rose's barns, could use a little of that deck stain

Then and now
This was then....
This is now:
And this is what was before now and will be again!
Backyard today - my pretty coin grass weathered the drought very well and is doing well at its job of hiding 'horrid box o' wood'. At least so far.
Horrid box o' wood in lower right hand corner. I think next year the coin grass and Korean spice bushes will hide it very nicely!
View of new gate in fence beside my deck. Now I can take my lawn mower into the back yard without carrying it through the kitchen, across the deck, and down the deck steps! Can't wait to mow next year!
This is another 'then'. The evergeen growing into the side of my house!
And a 'now'....tree gone, nicely built blind in front, will do a little landscaping with some more coin grass and a little English Ivy growing up the blind. Very nice work by Mike Howell here in Bloomington. Of course, he built the fence, the deck, tiled the kitchen & work room, put on doors, and much more. Everything he does looks good, is well built, and if anything goes wrong he is right there to fix it. I am very lucky!
Now I get to clean the gutters whenever those leaves in the front and back finally decided to fall off of those trees!
