No - really now....really? Thinking that this just couldn't be true I looked the other direction
Same thing....
I snatched up the paper from the driveway and headed back to the house. Rocky & Mini were staring out the door. Apparently, they were as horrified as I was. Especially Mini!
I headed to the backyard to see if maybe it was warmer back there. But on the way I passed a window and saw a bad omen. I could see over the snowcovered top of my neighbors house....a murder of crows had settled in.
I decided to contine. On the deck, however, I saw another bad omen
I pressed on. As I had feared - it was just as bad in the back as in the front!
Later in the morning Rocky and I check again and found that we had even more snow! Rocky, ever on guard and ready to do battle to intruders saw something, though...
And off he went!
He chased off whatever imaginary intruder was there and we headed back inside to make some tea and find some carbohydrates to combat the winter blues.
Brrrr........
